Molot & Nakova is used as a finisher instead of Icaria, the Liberator because of the added reliability, increased stats, and powerful spark effect.

4x Jotun Hurler because it helps activate M&N's spark, the body can be thrown away with Ixtun Merchant or Strategize, and Snowball is the best card in the entire game.

Svetya, Orene of Kosul lets you catch up to aggro and control while also playing a decent body that doesn't die to hailstorm. The ability can be used to draw into your finishers while discarding Privilege of Rank and firebombs.

Wasn't sure whether to try this deck out since I was missing 1 M&N but a random Twitch drop gave me a pack that pulled it soooo I guess RNG decided that for me. So far it's a fun deck. Sparking M&N is still absolutely amazing, the control package is decent so far and I love any excuse to play Rizahn. Also it's nice to not see a playset of Cookbook in a deck that runs it. Great card, but I really hate drawing it after I already have one cooking.

I'm glad you are enjoying it! And yeah, multiple Cookbooks get kinda messy. In factions without other card draw (FJS) it is probably right, but when we already have Strategize and Wisdom, there is no need for it.

Interesting. From talking to you this is more or less what I expected other than the Svetya. So she's been pulling her weight well for you?

I had some good laughs playing M&N in a Rampy FJP Midrange deck but I haven't played them in a Control deck in awhile. Maybe I'll give them a try again.

yeah, Svetya is great! She locks out aggro/other control decks and just lets you catch up. Ability is also useful when you are stuck with nothing else to do.

You usually only want a single Cauldron Cookbook at a time in this deck, as you already have access to both Strategize and Wisdom of the Elders.

Right, but you definitely want to draw one. I don't think you need 3 in the main, but I'd want to play 1 or 2. What if you need to get Bore with your merchant?

Not having one isn't that big a deal, there are some matchups where I don't want it. Strategize often becomes 2 cost draw 2 in this deck because of the 4 Jotun Hurlers, so cauldron draw is really unnecessary unless I am VS control or have nothing else to do (which does happen a lot).
