Don’t call your hero too early! One mistake I noticed a lot was that people would call their hero on turn 2 with nothing else to do. Not only does this let your opponent pop your aegis early, the Hero upgrades you get can be very good situationally, so wait to draw your hero until you’re ready to play it. Eilyn, the Rising Storm combos particularly well with the “Infiltrate: draw a card” upgrade, but if you’re slamming your opponents face for 6, chances are you’re already winning.
