The list is still a bit of a work in progress but it's definitely strong enough to play as-is. The concept of playing a Great-Kiln Titan on turn 4 is just too good to ignore.

One of the main cards I want to try to add is Permafrost but so far haven't figured out a way to make room for it. Same thing for Purify.

This deck has a small Nightfall thing going on, where Lunar Magus and Nocturnal Observer make each other better, Observer being a critical piece of this puzzle and Magus being a small help against Aggro decks.

There are some fun things we can do involving Talir's Intervention in this deck, but it's possible it only needs 2 instead of 3. Just keep an eye out for situations where it can create some big blowouts. One time I Interventioned a Novaquake Titan so I could Bond it and win the game...good times!

This deck can be tricky, but if you are familiar with reanimation strategies then you should be able to adapt pretty well. If you aren't familiar, give this a shot anyway, because it's an absolute blast!

One time I Interventioned a Novaquake Titan so I could Bond it and win the game...good times!

I started playing this deck last night and pulled this off in one of my games. It took some time to get the hang of how to play it but those are the most rewarding decks to play. Thanks for sharing!

Not seeing much aggro/rakano on ladder and I'm looking at a 65% win rate right now

I feel like this deck needs lightning storm, or some other form of low level sweeper... it has no answer at all for being rushed turns 1-4.
flippyflop Eternal Version: 1.28.7
so glad you made this list but, there's really just no place for this in a hyper agressive gunslinging/rakano meta
TheSkeeJay Eternal Version: 1.28.7
Yeah sadly I think you're right. When the meta slows down a little bit then this deck gets a lot better
Randygonzo Eternal Version: 1.28.7
This deck looks really neat. But I fear it is quite weak to spot removal. How to you deal with that?
TheSkeeJay Eternal Version: 1.28.7
It honestly depends on the speed of the deck we're facing. If we're under a lot of pressure early then we are just soft to removal and that's going to suck. But against something slower, we generally have enough gas and recursion that we can actually just embarrass their 1 for 1 removals.

Seems like this deck wouldn’t mind Mysterium Orb as a 2-of to ramp to the occasional hard-cast Great-Kiln. The endurance and overwhelm is a nice bonus too.

I'd recommend these changes:

-4 Nocturnal Observers - pretty mediocre in this deck, especially with Blind overseer and only working at night
+4 Lunar Magus

-2 Herald's Song -
+2 (of 4) Whispering Wind - Semi-argeted draw to fetch your reanimation

-2 Reliquary raider
+2 Whispering Wind

-3 Talir's Intervention
+3 Permafrost/Trail Maker - Hard to say which is better in a 3 color deck with high mana costs, so probably worth testing, but as an explorer who ramps and fixes (and draws removal) I like Maker in big Time lists

Looks fun. If I had those legendaries I'd try it.
TheSkeeJay Eternal Version: 1.28.7
So you want to replace an Explorer that enables turn 4 Kiln-Titans because it only works at night with a non-Explorer that doesn't enable turn 4 Kiln-Titans and only works at night?

Hyperbole aside, i do see your logic but the only reason the deck works is because of Observers, without them you don't have something that works.
therooster Eternal Version: 1.28.7
That's why you're playing whispering wind. You seemed sold on the Magus so I suggested him because aggro is hard, but I think both cards are bad outside very specific decks and getting one free loot from the creature just to have an explorer on the board is...not bad but not good.

I didn't realize you were so all in on the turn 4 Great-Kiln, which dies to basically every color at the 4 spot or less in a metal overrun with spot removal, so a more balanced approach seemed better for the meta, in my opinion. Good luck!

I've been play a ton of this deck. It is the most fun I've had in a while. I like the magnus instead of Raider as well. The only other change I was thinking about was taking out the emerging colossus. I've only hit with it once and it was alright. maybe second novaquake? I know it don't get it's effect off stirring sands but 10/11 is a good body lol.
TheSkeeJay Eternal Version: 1.28.7
I think I've hit with Colossus exactly 0 times haha, for sure get rid of that thing!
