My first public deck. I love
Spire Shadows so I'm trying to break it using
Helio, the Skywinder. 6/2 flyer for 2 that draws you card should be broken. Initial try with 4 helios doesnt yield good result so it is cut down to 2. Adding
Master Conjurer gives the much needed primal influences while also being win condition by themselves. As alternative win condition, shimmerpack can be a surprise lethal, converting your units into an army of 8/4s.
Basic game plan will be like usual spire shadow decks, try to mulligan to a hand with 3 powers and a merchant and try to play turn 3 merchant into turn 4 spire shadows. After that, your draws will be much more powerful, so just overwhelm the enemy while being careful about board wipe.
After spire shadows, my second merchant fetch usually will be
Glimpse the Possibilities if I have 6 or more powers, or
Sodi's Spellshaper if I have
Blight Pass Smuggler. The third merchant would fetch
Eremot's Machinations as by this time you probably would have some units in void to recurse.
Gnash, Desert Prince is there to combat air, but make sure you trade your fliers first as they will be targeted by gnash's ability as well.
