Information

A solid draft, with a good mix of threats and removal.

P1P1 was Noxious Wyvarch, P1P2 was Grodov's Favored. From there, mostly just stuck to Xenan. I saw a few dragon synergies in Stonescar, but didn't end up claiming any of them.

P2P1 was Ebon Dune Smuggler, which firmly cemented me in Xenan. Picked up a Changeestik that I ended up splashing for, but otherwise just concentrated on filling out my curve. Picked up a few other Primal cards, but not enough to justify a larger splash. Amusingly, ended up not playing the Smuggler because I didn't have any cards worth throwing in the market (possibly because of my hypothetical splash).

Overall, games were pretty smooth - play some early drops to establish board presence, then drop Dune Phantom or another defensive unit to block until I can start dropping fatties. Lots of removal meant I was capable of dealing with most problems. Lost one game to power screw, but otherwise things went as planned.

MVP: Edict of Makkar and Edict of Grodov. They don't deal with everything, but they have text in most matchups, and cheap removal is really good.

Macsen Eternal Version: 1.47
This deck looks like it can curve very nicely with that ramp, would be hard to beat it. I've passed Noxious Wyvarch because of the stats for 7, but I guess if you are ramping into it it's good. Did you end up killing more of your opponent's units than your own with it?

There were a few times that I didn't play it out because it would hurt me more than it would hurt my opponent. There were also a few times that I chump attacked with a anything that would die to it, my opponent blocked with something big, and I ended up wiping my opponent's board. It's a hard effect to play around.

Also: because I first-picked it, I was able to build around a bit and prioritize high-health creatures. Horn of Plenty also helped a lot.
