This is a take on SooNo's
WE BIG WE SMASH; Loved playing that version and thought I'd try to update it for 1.27 in the spirit of that deck.
This took me from Gold III to Master in a few hours' playtime; experiences may vary. 16 wins / 4 losses in my last 20 before hitting Master, most matches won in 8 turns or less.
Notable Omissions:
Seek Power: Wasn't very helpful; the deck durdles in the early turns too much as it is and this is a dead card late game. I never had a problem reaching proper influence due to all the double power cards.
Trail Maker: This card was too clunky in testing, and often I was ramping fast enough that
Amber Acolyte wound up giving me more consistent matches. too many +1 power units with only one health made the deck weak to
Lightning Storm and
Vara's Favor.
Purify: I ran this for a little while but wasn't satisfied with the results. Matches vs
Tavrod, Auric Broker are generally winnable with sheer damage, and matches vs Revenge strategies are hit-or-miss anyway.
Predatory Carnosaur: This wasn't getting me anywhere vs all the
Worldbearer Behemoth and
Tavrod, Auric Broker in the current meta; so I ran four
Xenan Initiation instead with great success.
Other Notes:
The one
Passage of Eons in the deck was a substitute for a third
Shatterglass Mage due to an unusually high number of
Temporal Distortion match-ups and wound up being left in.
I run three
Worldbearer Behemoth because I only have three. I'd probably still stick to three if I had the fourth due to it being one of only two triple-influence cards in the whole deck. Didn't seem to affect the win rate all that much!
The win-rate of this current build is probably due to the increased hate for spells and relics in the current meta; all of which are not very effective against this unit-heavy deck.
I'd love to hear feedback!
