The idea here is Vara, Fate Touched -> Azindel, Revealed -> Severin of the Dark + Ebon Dune Smuggler -> Reap. The Piercing Griefs from Severin bring back all your units, and you get to hit them to draw cards off Azindel.
I always felt Icaria was underwhelming and too midrange-y for this deck. So, why not meme?
Market is experimental. I don't think you need removal maindeck and you might not need the seat. Spitefeeder is very suspect but I've liked it so far. Arcanum Hourglass is also usually in the maindeck but it's so bad in multiples and is redundant with Katra, The First Seal.
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.

I like this, one of the things I hate most about Vara decks is the mirror is dreadful. This offers a legit mirror breaker... at least until/unless this is adopted as the norm, then... ugh. Is Spitefeeder necessary? Seems like this deck could do with another couple ways to access the market. But maybe I've drawn poorly.
I’ve made a couple changes and I thought I had updated it but I guess not. I fit in two shadow merchants for a malaise and cull and swapped katra and hourglass. Not sure if spitefeeder is necessary, it’s probably worse than malaise if I’m thinking of cutting that, but it does have its moments.
