So
Ziat, Steelwarren Reeve is a fair and balanced card, so I figured I'd take it along with
Feed the Hecaton and we'd go and update the classic Argenport good stuff archetype. This has remained my favorite deck to play though multiple expansions, and the core goal of
Scalesworn Patrol and
Furious Magniventris killing your opponent remains the same. All the aforementioned units can qualify for
Feed the Hecaton, and the deck is remarkably consistent in how in can apply pressure quickly. There a lots of three-ofs at the top end, as none of them are cards I want more than one of most of time.
Rolant, Iron Tyrant is game winning some of the time, but we don't always want him.
The early game can be tweaked to the meta, with
Combrei Lawmage and
Defiance being perfectly acceptable additions, but most alternatives come at the cost of making
Feed the Hecaton worse. The market has comeback mechanics and ways to win, but can always be tweaked to what you are facing. With regards to the power base, it is incredibly solid and more interesting powers can be added to taste.
This deck is a blast to play, and relatively easy to pick up. It is incredibly proactive, holding excellent matchups against the majority of the meta outside of decks abusing
The Creation Project or
The Throne Room. Have fun with
Ziat, Steelwarren Reeve while you can!
