This deck is based off of my previous wurm version of temporal. I was very exited when
Garden of Omens got spoiled. Control decks have been longing for a good site, and the new site is exactly what I was looking for. It fits temporal so well that I believe it’s worth splashing fire for.
So far its performance has been very impressive. It is a relic removal you can run main deck. It usually removes a unit when it comes into play. It can even tutor up
Brilliant Idea for explosive card draw, or
Unseal if you’re already ahead, or
End of the Story (and warp it in) to clear the board. The passive ability is fantastic. Imagine playing 4-cost
Harsh Rule, 1-cost
Find the Way and
Strategize, 2-cost
Wisdom of the Elders and still hold up 1-cost
Unseal and
Equivocate. Besides, it makes
Brilliant Idea draws an extra card.
I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. And let me know if you have other hot spells that goes well with the site.
Main differences are:
- I'm running 8 merchants with Great Valley Smuggler
- Seek Power still in place of Find the Way
- No main Temporal Distortion or Pit of Lenekta
- Disjunction, Moment of Creation, Eternity Core in the Market
- Still have Defiance in place of Equivocate
- No Rain of Frogs or Unseal
So how do you feel about those changes? I think I like Equivocate for Defiance for sure. Not sure about the rest. Could see Find the Way in place of Seek, but it's sooo slow in an already slow deck. When I lose, it's typically to not hitting my mana or not hitting draw spells and running out of gas. I haven't ran into many go wide decks where Hailstorm has been necessary, but I hesitate to cut it. How have Rain of Frogs and the Unseal been? Rain could be good against Kairos. Also considering more face Aegis since Saber-tooth Prideleader is pretty prevalent.
