Information

This deck is based off of my previous wurm version of temporal. I was very exited when Garden of Omens got spoiled. Control decks have been longing for a good site, and the new site is exactly what I was looking for. It fits temporal so well that I believe it’s worth splashing fire for.

So far its performance has been very impressive. It is a relic removal you can run main deck. It usually removes a unit when it comes into play. It can even tutor up Brilliant Idea for explosive card draw, or Unseal if you’re already ahead, or End of the Story (and warp it in) to clear the board. The passive ability is fantastic. Imagine playing 4-cost Harsh Rule, 1-cost Find the Way and Strategize, 2-cost Wisdom of the Elders and still hold up 1-cost Unseal and Equivocate. Besides, it makes Brilliant Idea draws an extra card.

I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. And let me know if you have other hot spells that goes well with the site.

I've been running a similar list with pretty decent success lately. It's the old list that was somewhat popular a few months back and the only real update I made was bringing in a couple Shen-Ra Speaks for a couple Harsh Rules. The glut of FTJ made me switch from Praxis back to this after not running it for a few months.

Main differences are:
- I'm running 8 merchants with Great Valley Smuggler
- Seek Power still in place of Find the Way
- No main Temporal Distortion or Pit of Lenekta
- Disjunction, Moment of Creation, Eternity Core in the Market
- Still have Defiance in place of Equivocate
- No Rain of Frogs or Unseal

So how do you feel about those changes? I think I like Equivocate for Defiance for sure. Not sure about the rest. Could see Find the Way in place of Seek, but it's sooo slow in an already slow deck. When I lose, it's typically to not hitting my mana or not hitting draw spells and running out of gas. I haven't ran into many go wide decks where Hailstorm has been necessary, but I hesitate to cut it. How have Rain of Frogs and the Unseal been? Rain could be good against Kairos. Also considering more face Aegis since Saber-tooth Prideleader is pretty prevalent.

Sorry for the late reply. Haven’t been playing Eternal much before the new set dropped. I can definitely see defiance being better than equivocate in this meta, I had it because at the time I built this deck, I needed a lot ways to deal with vargo and rost which see little play now. I used to run 2 find the ways and 2 seek, for the echo value paired up with merchants, strategize and honor of claws. The nerf to the Garden hits this deck really hard, I had to adjust the power base entirely and put in more find the way to compromise the heavy influence requirements, makingmost of my power depleted. I think this deck is a lot less playable after the nerf. The one pit In the main secures a way to win if your merchant gets frogged which did happen once in a while. Temporal main was the meta call I made at the time when midrange concedes to me playing temporal. I really like having disjunction in the market, but I need the slot for desert marshal, so that I don’t concede to scourge of frostmourn. I like ambassador over core since any relic removal would be a big blow out otherwise (Since at low mana, this deck doesn’t function.) moment of creation is a good finisher but don’t have a slot in my market to fit it in. Rain of frogs and unseal are against combo deck, and I hope to tutor the one copy with my garden. It’s teched against telor combo and skycrag burn. But the win rate against the latter is abysmal. For that reason I’m switching to JPS which focuses more on disrupting opponent’s game plan.
