Pretty simple game plan: Draw Spire Shadows from market and play it ASAP.

Vikrum is an insanely good card that could swing the field if he survives, but most likely you will use him to stall until Spire Shadows is played. He may get nerfed soon though.

Another weird quirk is that if you steal a unit with Dizo or Vikrum while having a full board, it gets sacrificed instantly. So you still get the Exalted Weapon from Grodov’s Burden. And then you can draw it from your void with Xenan Adept.

Card draw is mainly with Grodov’s Burden (still good even after the nerf) and Sadistic Ritualist. Do not hesitate to sacrifice stolen creatures for card advantage, especially if you think the opponent might be able to quickly kill Vikrum or Dizo and get their creature back.

Hi! Sweet deck, really fun. I've been playing it in gauntlet, because that's mostly what I do, and it performs quite well. If you haven't already, you should check out the new card Insect Swarm from Unleashed, currently available early through draft. As a 2 cost 1/1 flying, ambush, unleash unit, it's not very exciting, but when Spire Shadows flips that to a 1 cost 2/1, it's suddenly a very powerful card in this deck with some pretty awesome synergies. The unmodified mode is rather lame, so probably not a 4-of, but I've been testing it with 2 copies and I'm liking it so far.

Definitely keeping an eye on that one. This deck has issues dealing with aggro decks that snowball too quickly if you don’t draw Send an Agent or Banish. Insect Swarm fits that slot nicely. Unleash is gonna change the game dramatically.

After playing around with it a bunch (in gauntlet) I'm up to 4 Insect Swarms, and the new Xenan Adept also works really well in the deck, and especially with the Swarm. If you cast Spire Shadows with no units out, the Adept becomes a 0 cost 7+/5 unblockable that draws one of your other overpowered units (or a sacrificed stolen one, whatever is most spicy) from void and gives it +1/+1... it's kind of insane, and seems like basically the perfect finisher for this deck. It's definitely fun, if nothing else.

I just made an edit with Xenan Adept. I haven’t added the Insect Swarm yet, but I might replace some Dizo or Lumen Defender with them at some point.
