Today I bring you yet another ridiculous spire deck. Ridiculously bad, ridiculously good? You Decide. I test all these decks on the regular ladder queue during development. And while I feel like there is a lot of improvements to be made here (thus work in progress) it has netted me 250 places in masters, with ~65% win rate. I'm sure unfamiliarity with what this deck is doing catches people by surprise. Sometimes the opponent dies when they are at 22 health. Do not pay attention to the terrible curve of the deck shown above, since the whole point is that the deck only works after playing spire.
How the deck works:
Start everything by playing Spire. Without it, everything else in the deck doesn't work. This is why we are playing 12 ways to market. Make sure you play spire without having a stranger in play, or
Traver's Farm in play.
After Spire, the deck is centered around now incredibly broken costed strangers.
Triumphant Stranger is the busted backbone of the deck. With a few other choice strangers that work well with
Restrained Action, which is frankly crazy good here. The first turn you get a
Triumphant Stranger or
Lumen Defender which can attack right away. The Second turn you get
Meditative Stranger to pump everything, or a merchant to grab an delay card. The third activation gets you a 3 cost 10/6 stranger that give's everyone +3/+3 with
Prophetic Stranger or give everyone flying to swing in.
Battle-Tested Stranger and stand together give you some aegis for your
Triumphant Stranger
Parul's Choice In the market gets you
Restrained Action 95% of the time and gives aegis 5% of the time
Crownwatch Press-Gang,
Traver's Farm and
Reunite get you Triumphant stranger 90% of the time and flying/aegis strangers about 5% respectfully.
Every turn that Triumphant stranger is in play is a turn closer to you winning. Happy playing!
