So named because the goal of the deck is to give your opponent as many "out of the frying pan, into the fire" moments as possible. E.g. did they kill your Quake Titan
or Vishni, Lethrai Highblood
on turn 3? Remembrance
will bring them back with huge upside on turn 4.
Cleared your Waystone Elemental
? Death Ripple
means 8 shifted damage in three turns.
Tossing removal at you in general? Devour
lets us stay relevant through the whole game.
Survived and stabilized? Uldra, Veilripper
is about to turn 6 mana into a 7/5, 3 2/1s, a market fetch, 5 direct damage, and 11 shifted damage. And he'll fuckin' do it again. I've never lost a game with a resolved Uldra.
This deck is a ton of fun and got me from Gold II to Masters with a 75%+ winrate. It's likely also non-interactive and aggro enough to have staying power when The Flame of Xulta drops in a couple weeks.
