The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
How does this combo work? I know about the last pre nerf one but this one I just don’t get? If all your units get -2/-1 then you will be dealing no damage to proc tome and the same goes for Kin he gets dropped and can’t attack, if Aym isn’t meant to be dropped before then when? I still want to try it this way but I’m confused
People suggesting cards shouldn't go beyond zero are taking out functional parts of the game to nerf this combo.
I agree this combo needs nerfing, but banning all "creatures can't die" effects or messing with the base rules for the gamestate is just unnecessarily restricting future design space.
This is a tricky situation, as there's already been a nerf and it feels like nothing's changed, and also Kindo should ideally still keep his functionality. Still, nerfing Kindo Shadowstep specifically (and NOT Repel Darkness/Curtain Call) is the way to go here. Trickier still is the fact that Kindo is wordy already, so tacking on a restriction is going to be difficult. I suggest just making his mastery discard 10 or so units to free up text space to add "if Kindo has <3," in the middle of his first effect.
So, bearing in mind 10 is an arbitrary number I picked and would require testing, Kindo's new text would be:
"When any player discards a card, if Kindo has more than 0❤️, he deals 1 damage to himself.
Mastery 13: the enemy player discards 10 units from their deck."
I don't think this deck is really a problem. I just wanted to share that the nerf basically changed nothing. Sure it exposes you to relic hate but we have so much card draw it's insane.
I do get that, but most of the more oppressive combos came due to the handling of invulnerability and going beyond 0❤️ HP.
My wording might have been very spars but i do meant what you described: with the effect not continuing when the minion hits 0❤️ HP.
They seriously need to make cards not go beyond 0 to fix stuff like this...
I like combos but this is too fast and too easy to pull off and there is little to nothing one can do about it...
Now i really hope that this will shine a light on the current combo problems and will hopefully fix them soon
This isn't even a tuned list, but I could see it doing well if there's not too much turbo aggro. Otherwise midrange and control is basically a free win.
