ADKT's $15 deck: Draw your whole deck combo
=======================================
The idea behind my decks is that the user only needs to buy a mini-set campaign and a two promo pack or two. Then the deck is complete with minimal crafting (in this case 1 Legendary and 1 Rare, the rest are common and uncommon) < 10,000 Shiftstone.
Cost breakdown:
1 full league dusting rares should net 3000-6000 per league dust = $10
1 purchase of The Devouring Campaign = $10
1 purchase of the Promo Chapter = $2.50
Rounded to the nearest $5 so my title looks nice :P
Total = $35
This deck is based on
Play your whole deck. Nuke for a million. this is the
draw-your-whole deck combo of
Gastrolith and
Glimpse the Possibilities.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This deck has 50 power that you can combo off with to draw all of it. If you do not like the idea of this then this deck is not for you.
-
Glimpse the Possibilities only lasts for a single turn, so the infinite draw ends afterwards.
- Drawing a unit early in the combo can brick you. If this happens, you must fetch Glimpse out of the void using
Excavate. If you know of any, it may be worth investing in more Void retrieval - maybe try a third colour? Purple/Shadow?
- There are 2 types of Win conditions:
-- A big burn using Amplify. There are various amplify cards in the deck that will burn face.
-- Make a big charging overwhelm unit
Cinder Sprite and then amplify weapons/stats on him using the market.
- This deck is budget so you might not win on the infinite draw turn.
Save Money!!!!! If you don't have The Devouring then swap the 4
Supply Cache with 2 more
Caravan Delivery and
Hive Delivery.
one good way to keep this deck budget but make the combo more smooth would be to replace cards like passionate artisan with cards that have inscribe, that way, if you don't have the power to play them, you can just play them as power to get them out of the way. :) there are plenty good common inscribe cards, dismantle, draconic looting is uncommon but still good, bathe in light can be great to stall turns and buy time until you have the combo set up. just some ideas. I really like your deck, and the focus on budget is nice. I never would have been able to get started without my first couple of budget lists.
Another Anti Aggro play may be to put in 6-8 Time Ramp cards but I think card draw might become an issue then - I need to do more testing :)
