A take on Zyreth's Svetya Ramp. Kicking
Svetya, Merciful Orene to market and playing
Unseen Commando and some extra removal makes the midrange strategy stronger when waiting for the ramp payoff or not drawing ramp. I don't really care about playing multiple Svetyas in a game, anyway. 6 merchants makes sure Svetya is attainable when a game is going long. I might even like 4 Telut, but I definitely like keeping the 8 cost card out of the maindeck.
I cut
Martyr's Chains from the market for
Dizo's Office because I just wasn't finding myself wanting Chains much at 9. May have just been me/my games, though. Not sure about that change. Not sure about
Slay vs.
Annihilate either.
Update 7/15: Take a look at my
Argenport Valkyries list if you want to see the Argenport deck with mostly the same core I took to masters this season. I have not had as much success with this list or other
Lost Scroll Argenport decks lately, though that may have been the laddering (aggro) meta.
Update 7/21: With
Sediti, the Killing Steel nerfed and and Argenport Insignia on the way in a few days, now seems like a good time to update this list. I've made some changes.
Reclaim is really better in the market.
Dizo's Office just feels better than Telut in my opinion, but switching to
Minotaur Platemaker keeps up our justice unit count and gets rid of the punishing
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker nonbo with Svetya. 4 Insignias will be going in for all the Shadow sigils and one Justice sigil.
