Works in Standard too but it's wiping Masters Gauntlet pretty easily. Got to 17 wins before we got our first loss... And it was due to not getting two shadow influence. Beat both Limitless Possibilities and Praxis Studies bosses on Masters in 6 turns.

Could just be that it fits my playstyle more, but you ideally want at least two shadow influence in your starting hand and Gorgon Fanatic if you can. Ideally, you want a Xenan Cultist or two out and Gorgon Fanatic then hit the face with Levitate or just getting rid of blockers. Dying will make it stronger and if you Haunting Scream it back it will be Flying and Charge always. Then you can use Dark Return to get a 3 drop flying charge draw 3 and gain life (Unless you have all three Argenport Instigators out at once, then it's net even) that does massive damage and will likely kill any flyers they have after that. You may want more Minotaur Lighthoof but I always got it too late to be helpful. Piercing Grief is kinda a nombo with the Fanatic, but if you get it with the Cultist out it starts doing work.
I think the Icebow might be better slotted in rather than the Lighthoof so you can trigger Fanatic and get Grief at the same time if it occurs. Mostly though, the AI doesn't seem to understand the importance of Fanatic. You can also use Whispering Wind to discard the Fanatic to Scream it into play the first time if you can't find an opening and it will also give you a kill spell in Deathstrike or a nice deadly blocker/graveyard silencer in Steward of the Past. If you just need damage in, Lethrai Ranger will stack after it dies and comes back, screamed or not.
Levitating a Direwood Beastcaller will give you two 5/5 blockers and possibly an easy win the next turn by hitting a+space lol. I do like Screaming something then Dark Returning it back to have a flying threat. You could also try adding in Devour if you need more card draw and/or a death engine. Just use the control stuff to keep their threats or blockers down and once you're set up you're good to go. Also you can discard a 4 drop with Whispering Wind and get Umbren Reaper 100% which the AI will usually kill even at 5 or less health.
