is waxing moon performing well for you without the possibility to spread deadly damage?

Wouldn't something like impending doom more valuable for the deck?

Possibly yes, feel free to swap it, but I also mostly play it for the interaction with Sanguine Reaper, so that I can more realiably draw cards with him. If you cut Moon, cut him as well. What worries me more in this deck is that with all the Contracts flying around, it can be quite difficult to shed your hand for Houndmaster. I am considering to go with Wyatt, Trashman instead of the 5c Phoenix, so that I at least won't miss dropping power.

Also, the removals in this deck only kill units with up to 4 health, not higher. Deadly also straightens that out a bit.
