Information

use waystone gate to get an 8 cost giant which can be done turn 4 with the lobotomy then have fun with the market
the market can be any color unit even in factions you do not have as "fair exchange" ignores the influence requirements so feel free to swap around the market with whatever units you want to have fun with.
quite a few changes since last posting - put in more early removal inc the desert alchemist -
as i played i found i was also struggling to hit mid range power of 4 to 6 power consistently and survive long enough against rush decks
i also found that the 8 relics were not drawn enough so added 3 more in makkars quiver - which can sometimes also be removal

Kalikulator Eternal Version: 21.03.23
Vara, Limitless is a great exchange target, but needs units in the void to really shine. In my experience with Fair Exchange, Azindel, Revealed is incredibly strong, probably the strongest 8 cost target (only Kairos, Grand Champion at 9 is a stronger swap target imo).

Since you can play Fair Exchange fast, you can time it to be very advantageous (even just as a 7/7 blocker to eat one of their attackers, or using one of the deadly guys to chump if needed). But if you do it when your opponent is tapped out and at the end of their turn, that's a guaranteed double Heart of the Vault effect, just from the 1/1s alone.

I'm curious why you felt it wasn't as powerful as, say, Kenna, Shaman of the Scale, which you still have in your market.

I did have all the above mentioned cards in my market for a quite a while - azindel - heart etc and wanted to try something different and not copy paste what every one else had done and importantly at the same time take advantage of the fact im running makkars quiver with single faction units i even tried molot and nekova 8/8 aegis dragon too-though admittedly azindel is better
