Information

Put together for a friend. Uses only Commons and Uncommons. Also no Campaign cards. In MTG they call it SilverBlack. In Eternal, GreenBlack seems to make more sense as a name.

Anyway, I think this performs about as well as you could reasonably hope from a Rare-less deck, and it upgrades to the Tier 1 Skycraggro deck pretty cleanly. If you stumble across this and wanna upgrade it, absolutely start by adding Champion of Furys and removing Skycrag Strangers until you have a full playset of Champions. Then start replacing the Ruination Sledges, Twinbarrels, and two of the Ornate Katanas with Longbarrels and Shogun's Scepters until you have 4x of each. All the Ruthless Strangers should be replaced with Pyroknights. Then, it's time to get a playset of Ixtun Merchants, move Rally to the Market, and get rid of the Rockslides. (Other decks can give a better idea of a good market, for example my own Skycrag for the Woman on a Budget.) The last thing I'd put on the priority list is replacing the Thunderbirds with Vadius, Clan Fathers; as huge as that upgrade is, it's also the most expensive one, and it's better to strengthen the foundation before that.

For the record, though, I make no guarantee about your ladder success with this deck until you've got some Rares in there.

For the record! I don't think anyone really calls it SilverBlack in Eternal; SilverBlack is a weird meme name for what has traditionally in MTG been called Peasant (Since it's a step up from Pauper). Eternal players tend to refer to it as Peasant, Rareless, or just Budget (though Budget decks sometimes contain rares, since they're meant to be cheap for cost reasons rather than format restriction.)
SlothFacts Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
I considered labeling it Peasant, but Peasant has a 5-uncommon restriction, right? I didn't want to adhere to that since Uncommons are so cheap, and all Commons would never ever find wins on ladder, but I didn't want to label it a budget deck since I don't feel this is tested or proven enough to be listed aside some of those budget decks that get rode to Masters before uploading.

It's true, the Peasant format did have that restriction, but nowadays nobody means that when they say Peasant~ The term's evolved! If you don't care for it, I'd stick with Rareless, since that's clear and concise! c: Of course, I can't tell you what to do! Maybe you're the catalyst that makes the GreenBlack name take off in Eternal! I'm just a nosy with an opinion

Hey, I don't mind. Thanks for providing some context for Peasant!
