I asked a few nights ago in @Marivn_the_Imp's stream what cards handle
Crownwatch Press-Gang and co. effectively. While we couldn't come up with an answer other than
Nothing Remains, the question was still on my mind this week so I decided to look into it. Pressgang/Zido is a tough nut to crack but I think I've found something that is effective at both handling void recursion AND still has the potential to deal with the other Expedition mainstays like
Furious Magniventris, Huntsmaster Vikrum,
Helena, Skyguide,
Dinosaur Nest and
Stormhalt Plating.
Statuary Maiden is and has always been a very good card. She also has the added effect of shutting void units down completely while adding some buffs to our own units.
This is the list I came up with in an attempt to put those decks on the back foot. Give it a go! Let me know what you guys think!

Good call, man.
They're usually in JTS, and since Gavel has an odd cost, Waystone Ignitor can't hit it. I don't think those factions play anything else that could hit this card, unless they're using Disjunction to get back their Nests.
