Information

This is TJP because Strange Rider helps to shuffle through your deck (6 cards at a time!) to find your portals. There is already Calibrate in every Time deck, this is like running another 5 Calibrates in terms of relic tutoring. Yes there are 4 of them, it's worth having all 4 so that you can keep shuffling through your deck as mirror matches usually revolve around who has more portals. Just any match that goes long, you want to find those portals, or even one of them. Makes this deck much more consistent in general.

Of course you can still go with the classic TJS which uses Cull the deck instead of Strange Rider, but keep in mind that strange rider often baits out removal because people hate strangers, whereas cull does not do that at all, so Strange Rider can 2 for 1 whereas cull only ever 1 for 1's. Stranger Rider gives you tempo whereas cull does not. And Strange Rider goes through 6 cards, Cull the Deck 4, so that extra 2 cards is huge. Consider you may have a Portal 8 cards away. Cull The deck got you 4 cards closer, 4 away. But Strange Rider got you 6 cards closer, 2 away. That's game changing in a deck that revolves around a drawing a single card, Arch Portal(s). Another reason to play this over the most common TJS is Tradition Chant can help since what you invoke from it will highly likely to be a singleton, plus turning a power card into a unit is obviously great since these decks always play cards like Emblem of Grodov

Shen-Ra Speaks in the market is such a huge win con for this deck. Having them in the main deck is bad because your deck needs minions to play not spells. Plus summoning a 1/1 cultist to chump block has so much synergy with board clears. Big board clears are all about stabilizing so you can cast them, and Crack the Earth does that for you so well. So many reasons it goes in the market and not main deck. Hammer of Authority is just usually useless find somethign else, although it does help in theory cause there are some devastating spells out there. However, if you stabilize such that you can cast this, you are/were already going to win. I think in theory it could help against a slow deck but slow decks don't really have any big spells right now. But in theory you could maybe siege an enemy with this since taking the board is pretty easy with this deck. Snowstorm Druid is really helpful because you get Aegis, which is needed to protect your relics in mirror matches. She comes out the very first turn from Restrained Action if the enemy can't answer it in 1 turn. Adding more relic removal or aegis would pretty helpful in mirror matches.

Typical games go like this:
1. Mulligan for at least 1 Portal, Calibrate, Strange Rider.
2. Get your Portal up on turn 3, by turn 4.
3. Stabilize, chump block, outlast your opponents assault, clean up, remove stuff.
4. Use Crack the Eearth to get Shenra Speaks, board wipe. If you are lucky and you drew Ephemeral Wisp and actually pull him back in the same turn and drop a 4/5 body after the board clear.
5. Play Restrained Action, you need to start racing bodies to the board after you board wipe.
6. Pull in Snowstorm druid to bring up that face aegis, it helps a lot more than you realize.
7. Game is usually ended when Aali comes out as a 9/9 flier.

Play around relic removal, prevent dragons from hitting you.
