So
Okessa Málaga is a pretty fun card. Game plan is simple: play ramp dorks, get up to 5 power, then exhaust said dorks to play ridiculously powerful relics.
Martyr's Chains and
Stormhalt Plating are our maindeck targets, while
Pit of Lenekta is the backup in the market. Note that the Plating can be inscribed to trigger either of the other two, which is especially nice when you've already got a Plating in play. Also nice is that if Plating dies while Okessa is still on board, we get a Treasure Trove.
Since we're in the appropriate colors, we're obviously jamming our playset of
The Creation Project. It's nice to remember that Okessa can play this for free using cards with zero attack as fodder, which is useful for adding damage to an attack.
Most of the rest of the deck is for synergy. We've got armory effects, so
Furious Magniventris is even stronger than it normally is. You can probably play a number of 5-drops in the slot where
Alluring Predator is. I like it because it's great value with a charging body that really affects the game when it's played early. We can also play some stupidly big
Builder's Decrees, but don't be afraid to use it to get hand information and stall before making a huge Okessa play.
The market is mostly just big bombs. Notable here is
Ixtol, Champion of Grodov, which has an oldie-but-goodie combo with
Martyr's Chains. Play a power card or kill a unit with these two cards out, and you get to clear your opponent's board while ramping even higher!
