Eclipse Dragon is great in this kind of deck: it kills sites and allows you to be proactive while still having power to answer the opponent's threats.

Ice Bolt is another cool addition from the new set. Skycrag really needed a powerful removal spell that could deal with vara and other units with high health.

Calderan Cradle is there to get some value out of all the cheap spells and power advantage gained from Eclipse Dragon.
