Okay, I tried to build myself some Feln as well and was quite happy with how it fared. I even went full wipes with Vara's Authority at first, but it did not seem to get enough value to justify playing it alongside 12 other wipes. Perhaps if people catch on and start playing more Aegis.
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
So far in Cold Hunt, I've had trouble with relics when I'm playing control. Feln and Hooru don't have many good options, but I put Formbend in a few decks.
What do you think of the card. Just pointing out some major problem cards here:
Formbend isn't exactly an ideal card, because it sometimes makes a scary relic into a creature you then need an answer for. But you habe plenty of rhise answers. formbend is the onky answer for relics.
I had a guy scoop when I played it in his Pit of Lenekta. It gave him a 9/9. He didn't even wait to see if I had an answer for the 9/9 I just gave him. He just quit.
Formbend can also be used to silence units, or even turn your own relics into units.
And Chloric Mix has been really helpful for me against enemy relic weapons. Still, it unfortunately doesn't kill a couple common ones, but if you have 2 you can.
Sounds legit. I will try running at least two Formbends and see how it goes. Thanks!
Also, from what you write, it seems to me that playing Sabotage or Raniya, Never Caught to draw that sabotage might also help to deal with some of the key relics. This is probably the path I would take first when testing what could work the best.
