It will take until round 5 earliest to get this running.
There are 17 cards to kill opponent creatures in order to survive long enough.
There are 14 cards to fix the power curve. I tried using Pledge a bit more.
Amongst the creatures, only
Xenan Lifespeaker and
Spiritweaver synergize with the core combo.
I tried to use creatures that I rarely use otherwise and provide a few early targets for anti-creature (so they don't target the Moldermuck), add versatility and fun.
There is room to replace a lot of the weaker cards for more powerful alternatives.
Recommendations welcome, esp. on anything synergizing with the core combo.
