Greetings,
Here's a little something I tossed together because I wanted to try and use
Everburning Beacon. The Beacon combos well with
Flamestoker and just having large units in general.
- Ramp up your power with
Tocas, Waystone Harvester,
Auralian Merchant, and
Sindain, Arcanum Curator.
- Killing enemy units with
Torch and
Fevered Dispute while
Ixtol, Champion of Grodov is out is a great way to ramp. Especially if you happen to have multiple copies of Ixtol in play.

Jeering Yeti and
Miner's Musket can sometimes help with power ramp.
- Use the merchant or etchings to (ideally) snag
Kairos, Grand Champion. It acts as another Beacon while also potentially drawing you a ton of cards. Be careful though......if you play Kairos while Ixtol is out...you might mill yourself to death....
- Also use the merchant or etchings to snag
Rapid Development and/or
Behold the Truth to pump up your units. Since you're ramping power, you can often amplify Behold for tons of extra damage.

Chronostorm and
Scythe Slash are in mostly to fix power. Storm for the inscribe and scythe to plunder something in your hand you don't want. Scythe is good to get damage through a blocker. Chronostorm might get you out of a pickle if you happen to be low on power.
Things I'm trying to work out:
- I'm not sure about the number of beacons and flamestokers to include in the deck. You don't need them to win, but you want to draw them. Having both out together really rocks! 3 of each seems to work well so far. Bumping one or both up to 4 might be overkill. But, you could try it....you'd just need to consider what you'd take out. Maybe take out a torch or dispute.
- You might not need
Seek Power. It can help get power out quicker, but there may be something better.
- The power base, as with all my decks, can probably be optimized.
