SO this is my attempt to create an aggro style shift deck. We use efficient shift options like Nimble Conscript with ramp options like Stonehewer and Enhanced Excavator to create tempo. We of course run Heart of the Vault for its card advantage and tempo. This may not be the best way to do this but I have wanted to try a shift deck ever since the mechanic was explained and this feels like a solid option.
Also for the sideboard Wurm Bait and Ghar, Master Sandmage are things I am interested in trying. Let me know if these options are viable.
If you try this out please let me know how it works for you.
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I tried one praxis shift today for the fun since these two factions looked to have the most interesting shif cards in my eyes. Almost all my cards had shift or affected shift. Only Eclipse Dragon didn't. Quake Titan and Submerged Titan were interesting and with potential to change the flow of the game. I didn't get the chance to try all combos I glimpsed so far but Kimi, Expedition Guide boosting shifted units is interesting and even worth it getting her killed if effecting enough units. Tremorshocker is weaker but lower cost than Enhanced Excavator than it was my choice - and I also have only one of it.
I lost against you today and was actually sad the match ended so quickly since I was very curious about your deck and would have liked to see more of it. So thanks a lot for posting it, you definitely got me hyped for the deck :)
Yes, we had an awesome game. The deck reminds me of Praxis Tokens in that it will steamroll as long as there aren't many sweepers or life-gain units. I have been getting in rotations and am starting to shift more aggressive with Eclipse Dragon and Impatient Pyromage instead of the Heart of the Vault and Crimson Firemaw. Check it out and let me know how it runs for you.
