(mid-late game)
Thx to 'alamat01' we are back in business!
This set up is much better. It can go off super explosive and we reach 999 / 999 dmg numbers+all keywords very reliable. (but its not needed to win, just the cherry on top)
Core of the strategy is
Grumbo's Platoon with
Alhed, Mount Breaker ,
Crown of Possibilities and
Breeze Dancer. Each time you play another Grumbo it's stats double and you gain another round of keywords.
Xenan Lifespeaker ,
Amaran Armadillo are the secret heros that hold down the fort in early game. coupled with
Journey Guide for some mana cheating to storm off with board presence.
Notes:
>mana base can still be optimized it's better early game now but can sill have a slow start with bad RNG
>market is decent, still open for suggestions. Currently the anti-flyer tech or the Grodov relic are very important. Added some power just in case of bad RNG. If we are slow and NPC spamms big units a answer would be nice but we are in wrong color i guess?
>merchant choice is just for fun. the body some times helps but has missing synergy with the big Relic we are fetching. might even bump to 2 ice+sand and 2sand merchants
>Dark Return is a nice savety net for the Grumbo chain or if we get milled/discarded (don't know if mandatory)
>top end looks solid. You just need 1x Alhed on board to go big, Moonstone Bro is heal+card draw(super important) and we have 5x Crown effect-sources. You want one to go off, two is luxury
>A good amount of games you don't go for keywords and just make decenly big Grumbo's to swarm kill the enemy (Grodov Relic can help you make bigger units by suiciding or replace-kill them)
>once you play a little bit you figure out that you can bounce Grumbo with your Alhed to start another chain or do some shenanigans with dark return
>with lacking concisteny i was reffering to the early game vs highly aggressive gauntlet decks or ones that play threads each turn. You want to play the band of 'give a card X when you draw it' wich are not very good trading/handeling big things.
