I got pummeled by the FPS version of this deck while playing with
HERO of Korovyat Palace. I then of course created my own FPS version and ran it for awhile, which eventually lead me to try a more focused FS version. This deck is a ton of fun to use. So far, doing well in Masters.
Vara's Sanctum rules this deck. Basically the combo is getting Sanctum out and using one of the 16 units that do damage to other units, to clear a path and attack the enemy player directly. The REAL goal is to get
Flamestoker and Sanctum out; An 8/5
Infernus with Overwhelm, Deadly, and Lifesteal. The game is pretty much a lock.
Memory Dredger is there to have a flyer and slow the game down by pulling blockers from the void.
Raging Firemaw's twist ability gives it a lot of versatility. I only own 2, I may eventually take out the Memory Dredger for the Firemaw.
Vicious Highwayman is usually the finisher if you don't get Flamestoker out. Also a great surprise from the void with
Dark Return.
Madness is actually great with Sanctum. Don't be afraid to use Madness even if you can't kill opponent's unit. When you steal it, it gets the+3 Power and Lifesteal, but when it goes back, the unit loses those abilities. Madness can also be a great finisher by using the opponent's unit! So fun!!!
Brimstone Altar is also in the market for added Madness value.
Shadowlands Tyrant is powerful, but always seems to get killed quickly. Still like it in this deck though.
