42 - 0 (6 successful runs, 0 incomplete)
My Combrei Gauntlet grinder (
Brotherhood of Steel) got hit by the recent
Defiance +
Vanquish nerf, and it has become hard to piece back together so I jumped factions...
This isn't as aggressive as the Combrei one, but we now have access to tons of removal so there's that. It's really boring, but it just plays itself so 6 runs went by so fast LOL. Not going for groundbreaking here, just consistent wins.
One thing I'm missing from Combrei is
Aamri's Choice. The overwhelm is really just good with
Telut, Queen's Hand. If we had something similar in these colors, I MIGHT have considered going full Telut.
I also let go of
Svetya, Merciful Orene from the market because we don't have much DRAW to capitalize, and dropping her doesn't really impact the board that much especially if we're behind. I'd rather drop a pro-active card like
Dizo's Office, or if I have some board -
Telut, Queen's Hand (from the market). Speaking of Telut, he's heavenly with
Dizo, Cabal Chairman if you even get to that point (happened to me twice).
Also added
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker. I don't like her in this deck, but aegis on the opposing board nullifies all our removal so we can compromise there.
Oh, and
Desecrate in the market because there are a lot of aggro in Gauntlet, and I'm not too fond of helping them win. I think we can afford to lose bit of tempo (with
Slay) than y'know...die faster LOL. Believe me, even with all our lifesteal, there was a time that Skycrag aggro has gotten me to 6 health before I was able to stabilize. If you don't mind the 3 damage much, switch
Slay with
Desecrate.
Card I'm Considering:
-
Stonepowder Alchemist for the destiny so we can at least have more pseudo-draw. Our 3-cost cards are hard to replace though.
Final Notes:
- I don't have full crests. If you have it, feel free to switch with the banners in the main deck.
- I haven't pulled
Lay Siege YET. I figured it'll be useful VS Company of Exiles (when it reaches 5 power and goes for the kill with
Crystallize) or all those STUN AI decks. If you don't like it, try
Regent's Tomb,
Burglarize or
Adjudicator's Gavel in its place.
BOSSES:
1. Mindless Aggression (charge) - 10 turns
2. Company of Exiles (units to spells) - 16 turns
3. Highly Skilled (+1/+1 per battle skill) - 7 turns
4. Sudden Death (double damage) - 7 turns
5. Limitless Possibilities (random battle skill) - 6 turns
6. Highly Skilled (+1/+1 per battle skill) - 6 turns

It plays pretty well but it feels like Sediti tends to be win-more. In the games I'm behind I'm getting beaten down so his effect would be negated. Just wanted to get your thoughts.
Also, Stonepowder Alchemist really helps stabilize against aggro and adds a bit of reach to the deck.
I don't remember going below 10 health frequently so that's probably why I didn't think of Stormhalt Knife. It's a VERY GOOD suggestion though. It can easily replace Lay Siege since I haven't even pulled that card!
For Dizo's Office, here's a solution:
Maindeck:
- 3 Dizo's Office
+ 1 Slay
+ 2 Telut, Queen's Hand
Market:
- 1 Telut, Queen's Hand
+ 1 Svetya, Merciful Orene
Dizo's Office is really good. It has removal, buff, draw + LIFESTEAL. If you want to invest in Shadow, it's worth the shiftstone :)
Oh, but if you have Tasbu, the Forbidden though - let me know, we can switch the deck around for him.
Tasbu is just a badass with such card draw, and having a big deadly unit never hurts! Influence is rough tho.
You can, by the way, set the cards in this site to Crests even if you dont have them (after importing the deck) if you want.
I'm always hesitant to not have a real finisher (Svetya, Martyr's Chains, or my new fave Kairos!) but we'll see how it goes.
I'll craft the crests so I can make the deck accurate with my actual games. I keep putting off crests LOL
And....you can still replace Telut, Queen's Hand with Svetya, Merciful Orene in there. You will hate having Vara, Vengeance-Seeker in the deck though, but I guess the big units will more than make up for it. I'm just too fond of Telut in Combrei haha.
