Someone had to build a boring mono shadow list in this new expedition format. That said, this is actually working fairly well for me so far. It's also not that boring to play.
Some thoughts on new Revelations cards used:
D'Angolo Might - this feels stronger than pre-nerf
Helio, the Skywinder. This much card draw in a faction that usually has much worse card draw is a game changer. With
Impending Doom, and the various ways we have to buff unit attack, this is pretty consistently 4-5 cards or more.
Fall to Ruin - another great card. A single
Moldermuck left unchecked is enough to get you that one sided board wipe. Depending on how the meta shapes up though, this may end up in the market instead.
Rune of Illusion - very strong late game, and is very consistently undepleted so there's really no cost to including it.
Shadow Sketch - another almost always undepleted power that does something extra later in the game. The +1 buff is great when you have a wide board, or when you just need to push through those last few points of damage.
Waxing Moon - I'm undecided about this one. Deadly is not that good here, since that neuters
Moldermuck, and you can get plenty of deadly units already with
Arach, Razorshaper. The card draw mode is more useful, but feels a little slow.
