This is another one of my project decks that try to revive old school decks into the current meta.

Given it's many cards to counter enemy win conditions and good synergies i can actually see this deck being played.
The only weakness i see would be against Davia, Azurebreaker decks and it will probably have a hard time with Sling of the Chi decks though it's not impossible to win!


The deck idea is based around an old Xenan deck that i saw: Shadow Market its by BruisedByGod

You like Kerendon Merchant over Ebon Dune Smuggler? To me it feels like a quick market swap will help you beat hand disruption. Is deadly too important? Plus Grodov's Burden makes your list nuts. I'm also shocked there's no Vara, Vengeance-Seeker. She would totally help vs. Sling and Davia. Looks fun though. I miss the Mystic Ascendant days.

yeah you might be right, Ebon Dune Smuggler might be better considering you could than fetch Grodov's Burden, Confiscate or Privilege of Nobility.

If you see Vara,Vengance-Seeker to be a good include i would rather put her into the deck, just change the 2x Moonstone Vanguards for her.
I do like his ability to draw though so depending on the meta people could even change out In Cold Blood to get 3x copies of her.

Anyways iam probably gonna adjust the market when Ebon Dune Smuggler goes in. I do really like the deadly, just to bait out removals etc.
For now leaving this in the comments seems fine to me. But yeah good suggestions!

But i do think i will definitely make another Xenan oldschool version!
I know there was a cool one with Grodov's Burden being in the deck and not in the market.
