Almost a carbon copy of Aetherllama's deck. I initially thought Stella was ideal but she's weak, her effect is only really powerful in a long, grindy game and we already have too many Renown units.

I honestly think this is the best possible Rakano Aggro list, all cards here are Best In Slot, you might look at stuff like Hammer of Might or Inquisitor's Blade and think "wow" but in the end both cost 4 mana and you must be careful with too many weapons. Shogun's Scepter and Ornate Katana are both essential to keep card advantage and units out as we lost Crownwatch Paladin and Kosul Battlemage for more powerful cards.

I also think the approach with Crest and Waystone is better than using Shugo Standards because we really need units and this is extremely aggressive so you don't want to skip any turns with depleted Shugos, Crest at least Scouts and gives you more consistency for Champion of Glory and Shogun's Scepter.

This might very well be Top Tier or at least an extremely good Tier 2, it also eats Skycrag alive.

I just had to register a account to state that, out of all Rakano Agro Variation i saw around, this one actually works great.

Turn 4 > Red Canyon Smugler > Black Market Warhelm > Hit face for 6

Won me a ton of game... seems small but is surprising good.

Great list. As good as sharpshooter is I almost considered replacing her with the new 1/2 warcry Oni, just for speed. Never did it though, using her turn 3 and making the next unit HUGE has been fun

Dunno what I am doing wrong but I have been one step forward three steps back for the last 20 games with this deck. Stuck in silver I, trying desperately to climb out of it, but keep getting knocked down by fatties. Seems I just run out of gas with no answer to multiple big units. Any help or hand holding would be appreciated.

Oh, where's the evasion? The enforcers are good, but lighting rods in a deck with zero other flyers / tramplers. Also, the vanquishers blade feel really awkward, almost want to make them longbarrels to get that 2 for 1 and trample. Thoughts?v

Why Marley in the 4-drop slot instead of, say, Yushkov, Zuberi, or even Rakano Sheriff? I'm sort of new to aggro decks as a whole, and would like to understand a little further this particular choice. Was the choice just to have an aegis unit to put pants on?

Be careful with too much removal, if you added Avigraft to the market I suppose you took Vanquish? It costs 2. If you're playing both then in my opinion you're making a mistake, go hard, make the opponent trade, it's fine.

Yeah, I know Avi is busted but this is aggro, we want to go hard and fast and play cheap removal, Vanquisher's Blade technically costs 5 as removal but it is also a weapon.

The problem is that at 4 mana you could play both a Vanquish and a unit or weapon, at 5 mana you could play the higher cost units. Avigraft's bonus will not matter most of the time in an aggro deck.

Yeah of course they could draw 3 copies of the same blocker but that's just variance. =)

Yep but what kind of attachment would you like to destroy in an aggro deck? Permafrost comes to mind but Deepforged Plate is a better answer for that. You can safely ignore any other attachment and just go face =D

Nasty brew confirmed. Played this for a few hours last night and had a stack of wins. went 14-6 with it. The few games that I lost were to the XO Inquisition deck - https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/details/zwsUNutAKjU/fjs-inquisition. I lost due to running out of gas when XO hit the board but thats too be expected. Great work!

I'll tell you, the 4 slot weapons are busted. Right now I'm running Inquisitor's Blade because it's easier to confirm damage as it gives Flying and the Revenge is a clock.

Sometimes I actually think it might be correct to give up on aggro and play a midrange renown deck with all those super weapons but that would be a different beast entirely.
