Hello there NecroSphinX here and today i bring my first 7 Wins Draft deck. I have no experience on Drafts and when i drafted this deck i did it without using a Tier list, just with my common sense and thinking some strategies. Despite i like the Draft format i just play 1 Draft game per month(To get the Bronze Month Reward) and try to do my best.
When i started opening the packs i noticed that this time i havent much luck with the cards so as i have "meh" cards i just try something different and out of the box. The gameplan as i go in this cases i try to go for some Midrange deck kinda balanced.
Kerendon Steward was a key card of this deck that helped me a lot. His power to be a great aggro card and also a great blocker, for his Deadly, performed pretty well. Another card that did quite well was
Resolute Monk. Same as Keredon Steward the aggro power let you push for a lot of damage despite if opponent drops a low HP unit that can block him still good damage output. For my surprise
Tumbling Sloth did pretty well. I pulled a
Iron Hook and let me bait opponent having in my Avatar the Relic so he ll go face to destroy the relic but the Sloth came very handy being a 3/4 blocker can block a lot of things even more in turn 3 and 4.
My Midrange big guys
Infused Guardian,
Powerbreach Sentinel,
Sadistic Glee and
Runic Protector were more than enough. Opponent no removals and no stronger units insta-concede.
But by far the
REAL REY CARD was
Colossal Pteriax. This card won me like 3 games in a row.
Flying skill is very strong as important on Draft and i havent much good fliers choices in the pick phase so this card came in handly. His ability is the real win condition factor.
So this was my first breakdown im a newbie in Draft and i cant believe that this deck went 7-2. Im so happy and i encourage other newbies players to try and give their best. Hope this list can be useful in some scenarios. Good luck on your Drafts :)
