How to play this deck:
- Fetch Summoner Savant from the market
- Give it haste with Accelerate then play it or play it then give it haste with Warhelm
- Attack and drop a big creature
- If Summoner Savant gets killed, you can get it back with Excavate or Near Perfect Imitation
- If you don't have a big creature card to play, Kairos, Grand Champion is in the market...

Thinking about adding Shadow powers in order to be able to play Azindel, Revealed and Snowcrush Animist from hand for longer games. It would also allow replacing Excavate with a better card.

Maybe just play xultan conclave and similar cards that provide optional shadow without messing up your game otherwise?

Yes, that is a good idea, I also thought about that. In the end the main issue with this deck is not having shadows but more about having all the pieces and the opponent not having hand disruption for Summoner Savant such as:
- Card cost increase (Málaga Amphitheatre (Slow) is seing a lot of play right now)
- Targeted discard
