This is the deck I did most of my climbing with this month.
The main theme is weapons (sword) and renown with a sub-theme of aegis (shield) because those units hold weapons really well. Our nemesis is probably
Feed the Hecaton because we don't have that many units to begin with, and it ignores our aegis. Be wary of putting down two good units if opp has a Hecaton catalyst on the board. Also be alert to ways you can use the text box on your weapons to shrink their unit back under the catalyst threshold.
There is plenty of wiggle room in this list. It currently has four
Steelwarren Assassin because I'm testing that card at Zelda's suggestion, but I will probably not settle on four, because
Bold Prodigy does work as well, in a different way. We aren't flush with bolster activators because we often use our versatile weapons for renown instead. I have tried
Murgo, Reluctant Councilor, but it felt like a "win more" card, and we have enough expensive cards on our curve already.
Some fun can be had with
Golem Press (not currently in the list) because its ability to regenerate tokens plays against Hecaton, and the double damage obviously wears weapons great. So you might want to mess with that.
The 1- and 2- of weapons look weird, but they can provide nice options when you play Daisuke. They've all won games for me, so I don't think one is clearly better than the others in all cases.
Wouldn't either of Glory Seeker or Skullhaven Tinker work better here?
At least Glory Seeker should be better than Bold Prodigy because of the extra health and life steal.
Otherwise looks nice!
