Hi all,
Before starting a write-up, I must admit that I was greatly inspired by this deck, which really is great:
Stonescar Big Wheel
@Itstenz
Yet since I'm a fan of mono decks, this is my idea on how
The Big Wheel can work in a Mono S version
Of course this deck runs mechanisms (deadly) the AI hates, and cards the AI doesnt understand:
Best example would be
Bloodsucking Skeeter, the AI will waste valueable units into trying to kill it, whereas we just use it as a nice tradeoff that cant be removed that easily.
Eremot, Mindsplinter is another example of cards, which AI doesnt understand. Since he is deadly, the AI wont straight attack into him and also lets him pass by in attack (unless it could get killed).
Moldermuck has been my favourite card for a long long time now, and also made it into this deck now. Why? AI hates it and whilst it has deadly (via
Waxing Moon) the AI wont attack into it (eventhough it would die to itself ;) )
I've taken the idea from Stonescar Wheel to adjust the market into more of a Toolbox than being a last resort. Obviously it carries
The Big Wheel for card advantage, but in difference to the Stonescar deck, it's rather rarely the 1st pick.
The only realy reactional card is
Saloon Massacre, which is due to Grenadin Revolt and thosekinda AI decks.
Vara, Death's Master is really nice in lots of setups, as it can reactivate a used Regen/Market from
Vine Grafter or a used Ult from
Xenan Lifespeaker
The 1x'ers
Toxic Wisp and
Makkar's Stranger were in there as tests, yet i ran 7 gauntlets in a row with them and no loss so far. If they pop up at one point, they mostly come in handy, yet if they don't they don't waste deck space either, so i would leave them at 1.
The other cards have been adjusted in numbers throughtout a fair amount of time and they now feel balanced to me, yet you are free to rearrange them to your needs.
Have fun
