Kaspar seemed too win more for me since he's only valuable if you draw your chalice and it doesn't get destroyed by relic removal. You can swap out Derry Cathain for Kaspar to see which you like more.

Tayana is there to silence important relics like The Creation Project. I picked her over other anti relic cards because she's a Hero so she can draw cards with Xultan Ambassador
