TLDR: A mono Shadow deck I put together after seeing this Throne list by bakai. and reminiscing about "The Actual Boss of Gauntlet".

-

Shadow Etchings: Power fixing and opens the Market. 1 cost market cost Market access is great for fetching early against certain match ups or if you find yourself in a pinch with power to spend.

Sinister Rumors: This card is the total package. It kills weenies, it digs from the Void, and extracts pesky spells from the AI's deck.

Zido, Cabal Housecat: Another one drop wonder. The discard alone can keep the AI playing catch up. Great chump blocker thanks to Revenge. Plays well with Tasbu.

Acantha Ascending: I find Acantha pretty flexible and potent for a 2 drop but she is pretty vulnerable. Allows for some hyper aggression early if you can hit 4S influence. Mid game she is a pretty solid flyer and trades well enough. Her 8S ability is in the realm of "win more" but it has saved me from a loss. Additionally the elves she spawns feed Tasbu.

Annihilate: Standard spot removal. A lot more multi influence creatures in the AI gauntlet decks but there are still plenty of juicy targets, particularly in decks with Time, for Annihilate to take care of.

Defile: More removal and there is almost always something to kill with Defile. I'm finding this extra useful against decks that run Stealth cards as there is no guess work as there is with Annihilate and Victimless Crime.

Exploit: Very strong hand disruption. A great follow up after playing Zido. Plunder as needed to fix your power or dig through your deck.

Victimless Crime: The last spot removal to round out the deck. Quite a few older cards in the AI decks are now heroes but I'm usually happy to have this card in hand.

Vine Grafter: An exceptional 2 drop and another way to get into your Market. The added resilience Vine Grafter grants a unit in hand is especially useful in matches where your units are constantly in combat.

Moldermuck: Moldermuck is an all star and is relevant most of the time. Gunks up the board when the AI goes wide. Trades favorably against bigger units. You can always go wide with it yourself when the AI draws poorly. When you start making 1/1 Mucks they can be used to chump block or you can throw them away in an attack to draw cards off of Tasbu.

Incarnus, Makkar's Listener: Initially, Veteran Mercenary was in this spot, but I wanted a way to get through board stalls. I also wanted that juicy second Invoke from Mastery. Incarnus is more vulnerable than Mercenary but I think the upsides are worth it.

Vara, Vengeance-Seeker: Vara is Vara. Removal on body. +2/2 and Deadly if the AI doesn't or can't sacrifice and it's not hard to set this up if needed. Can really snowball and run away with the game off of this card alone. Her Lifesteal is crucial in Gauntlet and you'll be damaging yourself regularly with Tasbu, Waxing Moon, and Stonescar Vow.

Waxing Moon: A really neat relic. Giving all your units Deadly one turn and drawing you an extra card the next over the course of a game really keeps you covered. Just don't attack with Moldermuck when your units are Deadly. This could go in to the Market if you're looking to draw it every game.

Tasbu, the Forbidden: Tasbu is primarily a draw engine to be fed by Zido, Acantha, and Moldermuck. When that isn't he case Tasbu is respectable as a 6/4 with Deadly and you will draw a card off him should he die himself.

Amethyst Monument: I've added this as I found myself needing another way to recoup life between combat, Waxing Moon, Tasbu, and Stonescar Vow.

Amethyst Waystone: More card draw but it does help the AI and Nightfall can kill you if you're not careful.

Rune of Illusion: The Rune line of power are great for adding utility to a deck with out clogging things up. Ghostform gives you more reach and Lifesteal keeps you stable.

Shadow Symbol: Get's Acantha online earlier and can be pushed out when you would be out of power from a Zido Debt.

Stonescar Vow: Undepleted power and removes a Sigil. I like fetches but if you're not a fan just replace with a Shadow Sigil.

-

I always tweak the Market when playing other player's decks so I won't go crazy here. These cards work for me and I've grabbed every card out of the market at some point.

Saloon Massacre: Anti Aggro board wipe. Your units may live through it.
Silverblade Menace: Big life swings against spell decks on a body.
Fall to Ruin: Real board wipe. Moldermucks in the void may keep your units alive.
Pale Rider's Timepiece: Turn a unit into flying death on a stick.
Icaria, First Reaper: She's still really good. Hard removal on a Flying Deadly body with an Entomb ability.
