Welcome back to this... still Project meta.
Probably my last deck to this series of
Garden of Omens style decks that abuses cardboard echo and other ways to gain efficient card advantage. (If I don't decide to do a Menace one with
Strategize, or some 4F ones)
I will talk about the aspects after I update the deck tech, tomorrow.
- How is this deck performing?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The deck is performing reasonably well but it does regularly suffer against
The Creation Project and Katra, the First Seal. It has a favorable matchup against midrange, although not as overwhelmingly positive as the Menace version. It is more similar to traditional control decks in that you hold up power on the opponents turn.
Your main win conditions are
Tomb of the Azuremage and
Solfire.
- The powerbase.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The powerbase is basically as greedy as I am. Including 2
Star Charts, 2
Dazzle and 1
Skycrag Synthesis in the market for inscribe.
The sigils are for
Ice Bolt. It is quite hard to hit FF for
Catalyze on 2 and power in general. Some usual includes in Skycrag are omitted since we don't run that many duals and also not many units to support some of them.
- Card Choices.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The usual
Cliffside Porter,
Unstable Form and
Star Charts Echo value. For card cycling, we have
Strategize,
Catalyze and
Crafty Occultist.
Unfortunately,
Torq, Ballistics Crafter is actually a bit slow and I can see replacing it. (Currently trying
Jufi, Sprite Seer)
We have
Garden of Omens as usual and we usually
Resurface for
Manufacture,
Solfire or
Display of Survival.
- Difference in playstyles from other versions.
This deck plays more in line with traditional Spellcrag or Hooru Control lists. You often leave power open holding up
Display of Survival and other fast spells.
- Conclusion of the whole series
