Information

Deck I've been trying out in masters gauntlet recently to reasonable success and it's hella fun to play. I've tried dual faction Endra quite a bit in gauntlet but the main problem I always have is, especially with the copy cards you end up with a lot of dead draws if you don't draw your endra's early.

Enter Wasteland Broker.

This card has made this deck click so much better. With it, i can put my copy card such as Sudden Schism in the market, while still having the benefit of keeping 4 of them in my deck. The extra space can now be used on Burn and removal like Turn to Seed and Sear, which allows you to quite comfortably deal with the early game spam you typically see from gauntlet decks. Hailstorm is also in the market to help deal with wider boards. The main win condition of this deck is to keep hitting your opponents face with burn by copying your Endra, Champion of Shavka and Jekk, Mercenary Hunter although don't be afraid to use it to remove your opponents stuff too!

Other card choices
- Whispering Wind has been really great in this. You generate a lot of treasure troves (Jekk and cylixes) and Grenadins from Granite waystone. These are prime targets for Whispering Wind's effect and will allow you to bring one of your key combo cards.
- Helio, the Skywinder is an amazing refresh in the last stages of a game. It's not uncommon for her to draw 4 or 5 cards for you and putting her in maret means you can time when you get her.
- Beseech the Throne does a lot for this deck and is my favourite card of argent depths. Helps with flood or screw and also provides sigils for jekk or treasure trovers for Whispering wind
- Howling Peak Smuggler is my other merchant of choice, it allows you to draw Hailstorm when you really need it and as it turns out, turning your burn spells from 3 damage to 4 damage allows them to hit far more things the ai likes to play. Plus it'll buff your Shavka's Song
-Garden of Omens- Just a really versatile card for this deck. Gives you removal, relic destruction and spell tutoring, while also giving spell cost reduction.

I don't know if this deck would be any good in throne at the moment. There is a lot of aegis flying around and a lot of ways to deal with your units like Turn to Seed, which just completely messes up your gameplan. Also Rakano is just too damn fast and would beat you down before you got anything going. That being said, if anyone has actually had any success with this in throne let me know, and if there are any changes to accomodate that. Anyways, thanks for reading this guide and I hope you give it a go! Feedback is always appreciated.

I gave this deck a whirl, and it has a lot of cards I never play with. Wow was I surprised, sailed through my first gauntlet barely knowing what I'm doing. The copy/burn cards have amazing synergy. Thank you for posting this deck, it's very fun!

Honestly, Wasteland Broker is Jesus and Ghandi and Poutine and Donald Trump too. And Dylan and Bowie, obv.

I love this deck! I was noodling around with something similar so you've saved me a ton of time and given me a solid base to go on with. Thanks so much.

No worries, hope you enjoy the deck!

Nice deck! I've actually defeated the Gauntlet boss on my first try. Yeah, on my brief playthrough Primal Etchings seems to be the weakest link of the deck. It requires a Primal unit in able to get cards from the market. And on the main deck there are only four (Whispering Wind x 4). Howling Peak Smuggler seems to be better of the other market cards since it has 1+ on spells, plus we can have an option for a fire card in the market.

Hey, glad you enjoy the deck! So etchings I rarely use as a market, think of it more as a seek power with optional market capability. I’ve found it very useful for starting off a jekk copy chain in a pinch (you only need one sigil to get double damage on every copy). That being said I do think you’re right about the other markets. I may try getting rid of two Whispering Wind maybe one etching for 3x Merchants
DragonsFury Eternal Version: 20.07.29
Are you sure about that one sigil for each copy of jekks double damage? That was the first thing I tried and the copy didn't have double damage.
Againsttheclock Eternal Version: 20.07.29
Yeah I've done it many times, you discard a sigil for the first jekk, then every time you copy it it should have double damage and automiatically do 4 damage
DragonsFury Eternal Version: 20.07.29
You're right. I was doing it wrong. I didn't realize you still had to discard a card to get the 4 damage from jekk. Thanks.

I actually really like Etchings as an enabler for Jekk's double damage ability! The market option is rarely why I play it. That being said, Howling Peak Smuggler has V nice synergy with Endra.
