PREFACE
First of all of you're taking the time to read through this: thanks! I'm not a great deckbuilder and this one is based off of Literally Delver but in this I go over why I think these cards are here, and why I continue to play them. I would love some constructive feedback and any input on the deck is appreciated. Cheers!

THREATS:
PYRE ELEMENTAL: The reason to play this deck. This spicy boi is a 2 power 4/3 with charge that can alternatively be cast for 6 power. He's as good as Cha Fu in this deck.

CHAMPION OF FURY: A skycrag staple for a reason, he's an incredibly efficient beater that pushes damage through chump blocks and draws removal from all corners of existence.

SNOWCRUST YETI: Very cheap, very efficient and it has built in protection. Solid but nothing exciting. I run it because it gives the ability to have a t1 play with a weak hand. It just increases threat count.

POWDER GLIDER: same cost as SNOWCRUST, but is much less aggressive and isn't naturally evasive. However, he combos very very well with levitate and is usually attacking as a 2/3. Still, dies to removal.

NORTH WIND HERALD: When he's free it's an incredible tempo play, but he's an awful topdeck. 2 of.

CARD DRAW/FILTERING:
STRATEGIZE: The best. You know it. I know it. It sculpts your hand and turns lead into gold. Feed it excess power in the late game for profit.


LEVITATE: Draws cards, pushes damage, pops aegis, and combos with powder glider all for one power. What's not to like?EDIT:RIP LEVITATE T_T, now at two power this slows the deck considerably. I'll be testing out other card draw and possibly more Savage D. Maybe a split between heralds song and Savage D

Honestly needs more/better card draw, but I'm not sure what gets cut or what cards are cheap enough to work. I've tested wisdom of the elders, and found that either holding up three power or taking a turn off to draw slows down the deck too much.if you have any suggestions here please let me know.

INTERACTION:
TORCH: It's torch and we play red. But for real, it's cheap removal that goes face and the best power to damage ration in the game.

PERMAFROST: One Mana removal for most things not named Sandstorm Titan since many decks lack strong endurance units. Unfortunately it doesn't really play well with the spells matter threats but it's too cheap and good to pass up imo.

FINEST HOUR: Functions a lot like extra torches with the bonus of keeping your unit alive

UNSEAL: Gets rid of pesky cards like hailstorm, harsh rule, but a lot of the time I find myself countering cantrips while op looks for answers. It's actually been amazing in testing. However I'm not sure of the exact number I should be running.

KALEB'S CHOICE: It's essentially extra unseals, with the bonus of getting rid of resolved attachments like runehammer or permafrost mostly feels bad to draw more than one since unseals counters better.

PROTECT: more counter spells and curse protection. Might need to be backlash for extra burn.

SAVAGE DENIAL: This is great at protecting a threat the turn it comes down, and is good in an opening hand but feels really bad to topdeck as opponens move into the midgame. It might should be a two of.

THE WEIRD STUFF:

HARMLESS QUESTION and TRAIL STORIES: These two cards enable the best openers this deck has. Ideally it would go t1 scout power, t2 question into elemental, t3 stories into elemental holding up a discounted counterspell. Yes stories is card disadvantage, but as a tempo deck we're attempting to beat the opponent before that matters. However drawing multiples and topdecking it hurts so it's a three of. Question is good against everything permafrost is good against except it's free.

POWER BASE:
It's probably poorly constructed, but honestly I've no meaningful trouble with it. The deck functions very well on two power and three is where you want to be most of the time since that let's you play a threat band hold up interaction . Seek power and Diplomatic Seal help fix the influence.
