I've played enough gauntlet to know which AI decks make me cringe to see come up. 'Spreading Darkness' is one of those decks. If you're not running something that kills quick then the deck has an extremely aggressive late game.

This deck is built loosely off the framework of that deck but with a bit more interaction at the lower end of the curve to keep the aggressive AI decks off our backs. It holds it's own with plenty of early removal and threats. Provides plenty of ramp to get to our top end. Nightfall helps draw to our big threats to end the game.

The deck is extremely consistent for me so far and has gone undefeated in the three or four runs that I've had with it on Master difficulty. It may have a slow game here and there but where this deck really shines is with the Boss fights so far. It has completely melted through those without any worries.

Nice list! I usually avoid nightfall at all costs because the AI ends up finding an answer to what I'm doing but this is working well so far.

Hi, Drew! Thank you so much for the comment! You are a wise man for keeping away from nightfall in gauntlet. I usually attempt to do the same for the exact reason that you gave. Unfortunately my lust for playing out a Worldjoiner has caused me to make all sorts of bad life choices.

I mean that's as good a reason as any. If you feel like being more responsible you could probably jam Worldjoiner in a deck like this Mono Time Ramp now with Shadow Lifesteal.
