Just went on a huuuge winning streak with this after making a few changes. (Disclaimer: not in Master ranks yet this month, as I just returned to Eternal at the very end of April; hence, it's a long climb back).
Strengths:
- Lots of draw power and deck-thinning; lots of Market access
- Easy to get Aegis
- You can put a lot of pressure on opponents with
Rost, the Walking Glacier,
Prism Golem, and so on.
-
Clutch of Talons might be the MVP of the deck; it's an incredibly important finisher that you typically only play if you can Amplify it at least once
- Pretty cheap deck, as it doesn't run a million Legendaries
Weaknesses:
- Doesn't feel "unfair" like top decks always do; seems like it's missing a big, powerful, synergistic threat (reoccurring Rosts and Helios are the most annoying thing the deck does)
- Primal, as always, lacks good, cheap removal (I know Direwolf wants us to Stun-Stun-Kill with Primal decks, but I still don't think it's worth it)
- Untested in the higher parts of the ladder
- Can't be played on auto-pilot; requires thoughtfulness
