Information

Hi All! Long time lurker and first time poster.

This deck was initially inspired by "What the Muck?!" by Makash. The interaction between Moldermuck and Counsel of Heroes is awesome. However, I felt that deck was a bit slow to set up and still not consistent enough for Gauntlet. Then come Tarra, Ever Loyal

The best creature to play Tarra on is Moldermuck, but Ghostblade Outcast or Crownwatch Paladin are just as good.

Deathwing is there for early defense with the side benefit of warp.

Unseen Commando works so well with many creatures in the decks that have two or more skills and also provides early defense.

Sediti, the Killing Steel is for extra card draw and also a big butt for the AI to deal with.

Spiritweaver fits naturally well in the deck to smooth power early on and provide lifesteal for your enhanced creatures.

For Market, I added Lay Siege to deal with the many permafrost or stun effects in Gauntlet and usually the first card I draw off the market. Harsh Rule is also included just in case you need some emergency reset. Counsel of Heroes is still in the market for fun and paying homage, but I rarely need it.

I have been using this deck and completed multiple 7-0 sessions in high MMR Master Gauntlet. As always, please let me know what suggestions to improve this deck further. Hope you enjoy this deck as much as I do.

Thanks.

What would you drop Sediti for in a budget version?
tloi26 Edited Eternal Version: 21.03.23
Sediti is not that critical to the deck's success. You can literally try any big creatures that reasonably cost to sub in. However, remember that the deck is not that shadow friendly so try to limit to green creatures for a smoother draw. I like flying creatures for better evasion, so Silverwing Commander would be one such candidate.

Maybe add a Rolant, Iron Tyrant, the Silverblade Reaper synergizes well with Unseen Commando. Based on your deck, I made room for Tarra in my MolderMuck gauntlet deck and it is cruising along so far. Good deck.

I use Slay instead of smite.

First of all I'd like to say "Thank you", but that doesn't get you my upvote ;)

The Upvote is because I created a very similar deck to yours, just didn't post it, because it's still in testin, but since you posted yours I'll name the diferences to mine:
- I don't like Crownwatch Paladin, but that is just personal opinion i believe. I just don't consider it worthy, when compared to Ripknife Assassin. Of course this is argueable, since CP has Aegis, but it's still an awful defending unit, whereas Ripknife scares off the AI because of its deadly and almost always trades better.
- Vanquish... There's very few situations where you need a Vanquish instead of just using Desserts, thus making it substitutable. My preferance here is Smite, because it takes care of statwaise unbalanced stuff (where Just Desserts fails when it goes the wrong direction)
- Beseech the Throne, Plunder and Card draw... I prefer Petition, no Plunder but definate Power draw and when pulliny a Cylix it's indirect card draw too. I'd call it personal preferance too.
- Sediti, straight forward, but I don't own him thus carry Rolant, Iron Tyrant instead and also the value you can get out of Rolant is absolutely insane. Since you own Sediti, you shouldn't sub him, but maybe take out 2 winchest Merchants, as 6 Market cards should do the job easily too.

All in all I really like your deck and what it's doing. My suggestions are personal opinion so don't take them too critical ;)

Good job and keep up the work

Thank for the suggestion @Makash. I agree that it boils down to personal preference. I like to attack and keep on attacking to overwhelm the AI with bigger and bigger creatures.
My aim is to consistently attack with at least a warcry 2 unit on my turn 3. Aegis is there to help that plan. If Crownwatch Paladin attacks once and die, he did his job to grow both Tarra and the next units.

In the case of Rolant, Iron Tyrant, who is a powerhouse in Gauntlet, I feel that he fit more in reactive, control decks. You'd still win, but it takes longer.
