Currently my best gauntlet farming deck, directly inspired by
.
Game plan
During the early game (0-4 power) you want to ramp up and stabilize. After that, you can push some damage and do exchanges (your designated pushers being
Sandstorm Titan,
Moonstone Vanguard, and
Worldbearer Behemoth). Also, you really want to bring
Grodov's Burden from the market to mitigate the effect of enemy removal. Other than that, this deck is really simple to pilot.
Card breakdown
Minor changes can be done to the deck without compromising efficiency, specially when the unit-spell ratio and the curve are kept similar to how they are. Besides that, these are some noteworthy cards that I would keep in:
-
All-Nighter and
Temple Looter don't seem very good by themsleves, but they have proven to be very useful to disrupt enemy aggresion during early game. And once you have set up your board, they can be used as "battle tricks" of sorts to mess up with enemy blocks (I haven't found the second mode of
All-Nighter all that useful though).
Desert Alchemist falls into a similar category and it's just good on its own.
- As said above,
Sandstorm Titan,
Moonstone Vanguard and
Worldbearer Behemoth are your designated damage-dealers. While
Alhed Ascending,
Display of Realities,
Sive, Desert Herder and
Grodov's Burden facilitate good attacks. The cards in the latter group aren't so vital and are interchangeable with one another (Except
Grodov's Burden of course. leave that in).
- The last slot of the market can be for your utility card of choice. The ones I have tried are
Excavate,
Dissociate,
Worldly Cleric,
Chronostorm,
Passage of Eons and
The Last Carnosaur. However, 90% of the time, you just want
Grodov's Burden.
