So, Chalice is kinda good again. Carried me through Diamond to my first Masters.
Do the Chalice thing, and outlast them.
MAIN DECK
Ephemeral Wisp is the star here. Remember, it keeps the buffs from Chalice, so you now have infinite 4/5's! (Unless you somehow run out of Power cards.)
Golem Press is bonkers, but more than one is useless, so it's just a 1 of. We draw a TON of cards, so just keep drawing til you get it. 4 Power for a "3/3 Double Damage, Summon: Draw a card." unit seems good.
Jennev Merchant got buffed recently, and that makes Chalice happy.
Xulta Convoy is great, you get to Chalice the dudes, and block with them right off the bat.
MARKET
Equivocate deals with pesky threats that need to go away. Just be careful about using it on 7+ drops, as pretty much every card they might become is just as bad, or worse.
Disjunction:
Avigraft got you down? Maybe
Martyr's Chains is being a bit oppressive? Get one of these from the Market, and say "Buh-bye" to those pesky relics. Also functions as "I don't auto-lose to Bore".
Cirso's Choice eats Aegis from things like
Stand Together, sweeps low-health boards (while our Chalice'd units dodge it), AND can be used as Fast Speed face Aegis. What's not to love?
The Great Parliament is a good win-con for the old
Harsh Rule, drop 3 Owls combo.
Coming Soon: Testing of
Derry Cathain, Ripclaw Rider and
Amaran Stinger. With the new upgrades, these may or may not be very good for the Chalice.
With 8 merchants, it might be good to have fate/echo cards. Cliffside porter is good with chalice but a very bad card. Jotun hurler is comparatively better but seems like it wouldn't work especially well here. I also thought about situational cards like disjunction, counterspell, channel the tempest, and gavel. They can be put into the market when not needed. Strategize could also help with running main deck gavel and gaining echo/fate card advantage.
Also, what do you think the best substitute for convoy is until I get and complete into shadow, I am currently just running a bunch one-ofs to see what I like
