Palace Control

Been playing this deck a ton in gauntlet and am having a blast with it.

Core idea of the deck is to control the board until you can grab Korovyat Palace from the market and then drop your big, flying threats into it that all get the aegis buff.

While Palace makes the deck run, the true star of the deck is Chirganth, Ice Regent. I love this card. Incredibly hard threat for the AI to deal with, as they ALWAYS play into your Numbing Cold so they need three spells to take him out. Inquisitor Makto is also another great threat who can provide early utility if you need to block, and then is obviously recursive so the buffs from palace continue to pay off.

Black-Sky Harbinger from the market can be useful if you aren’t drawing your threats or for a quick board sweep / life gain if you are getting too far behind.

Raniya, Wings of the Cabal is a card I’m trying out - I do like the ambush and the debt ability is strong in theory but it’s rare I get to use it and the 3 toughness makes for a pretty soft blocker. Will probably explore more options (might just sub her out for main deck harbinger).

Otherwise the deck is pretty standard. It’s very strong and has a tempo type game to it. Fun to play.
