Took
Big Brain Rats and made it TJS instead of TPS.
This didn't sacrifice much other than
Elvish Swindler, but gives us access to the best relic in the game,
Avigraft, plus
Slay to remove big threats we can't really block and
Stand Together to protect us from board wipes. We also get to use some cool cards like
Golem Press.
The gameplan remains the same; get a board of rats and buff them with either
Katra, the Devoted or
Xenan Obelisk.
Shepherd's Horn + Porcelain Mask means every unit you play will gain you 3 life. If you can get Rat Cage, Katra, Porcelain Mask, and Shepherd's Horn all out, you have a sick combo.
If the opponent is playing Fire, try to get
Corrupt from the market and keep two power open the turn after they play a merchant for the incoming
Bore that will completely wipe all your pretty relics.
End of the Story is a reset card against big midrange decks,
Slay is cheap emergency removal,
Sword of Unity buffs all your tokens and shields them, in addition to giving you a way to sustain and trigger Katra. Azindel is your late-game wincon, hopefully with a board of rats to draw you plenty of resources.
I concur with zilfran though, I had to use display as removal 90% of the time, so I still think this version is better even giving that up.
There may be a 4-color optimal build somewhere. However, it's worth remembering that both decks are absolute trash and complete meme tier. They'll lose 90% of games regardless.
