"The key of the deck is Scouting Party. Virtually everything in the deck is about making it happen with Wump, Party Starter or Calderan Gunsmith. The Jotun Feast-Callers are MVP. If you get three attacks with one, gg, your opponent will never come back from your answers, and counterspell really shuts down enemy shenanigans. West-Wind Herald is also fun with gunsmith, allowing the exodia combo if you get the pieces. In your opening hand you almost always want at least three power sources and draw/removal.

By exodia combo are you referring to the OTK by recurring mirror image on gunsmith with a herald on the field? Because it doesn't work without cabal spymaster. I mean, you do technically get infinite heralds but over the course of multiple turns but I'm just confused by your terminology.

If you have 2 heralds in play, and 2 mirror image in the void ( or, one in void, one in hand ), and play gunsmith, you should be able to cast one mirror on a herald, then one on a gunsmith; repeat. I've never had a situation where my opponent had so much life I had to do the loop many times to test, but I'm pretty sure it checks out.

I actually think the deck just wouldn't work without it. Originally, I was using slushdumper, but he takes 2 turns, or 8mana in one turn. Getting a single red influence is pretty easy, I've never not had it when I needed it.

This deck is awesome. I played against it with both Temporal Control and Argenport Midrange, and got whooped. I'm guessing that, until people meta against it, it'll be a powerful weapon. Two thumbs way up here!
